What to do when you don't have the answer

. How should I treat people with whom I disagree? Love is the answer.

How do I respond to the jerky boss, the irritable neighbor, the unruly kid? Love is the answer.

What if someone is rude to me or unfair to my children? Love is the answer.

What do I do when I feel used or betrayed?

You know where this is going.

Whatever the question... We know hate doesn't solve anything. Nope. Love is the answer.

Love is such a simple idea, too simple really.

We want answers which satisfy our questions, as though our minds need comfort. But hearts are where hurts live and love is the language of the heat. I struggle when I don't have the right words to comfort someone, when I can't fix things and I don't know what to say.

I want to be practical. I want to offer wisdom and great advice.

However, as the Love Does writer says so brilliantly, “Most people need love and acceptance a lot more than they need advice."

Yes.  Not only does this rings true, but it's encouraging.

Even when I don't have the words and rationality escapes me, I always know how to respond.  I always have an answer: love.
