The List: Bocado
For those of you who haven't explored West Midtown (the area just north of GA Tech), you're missing out on one of Atlanta's food hot spots. This is where you find Gios, Antico Pizza, Miller Union, The Optimist, and Bocado. Further north on Howell Mill is Abbitoir, JCT Kitchen, Bacchanalia, Star Provisions, Yeah! Burger, and Tacqeuria del Sol. Seriously. It's an eating mecca!!
I was excited there was something new on The Creative Best Dish List from Bacado (I've previously reviewed their burger here), in the heart of this food scene. The new entrant is also in the sandwich category, but of the vegetarian variety.
Feast your eyes on the roasted cauliflower and eggplant sandwich...
Isn't it beautiful? The cauliflower and eggplant is mixed with cilantro, cucumber, carrots, and a few slices of jalapenos.
Oh my is it delicious!! Absolutely "list worthy."
I was fortunate enough to be eating with my friend Kathy who insisted on splitting her favorite sandwich with me. This is the proscuitto, brie, and arugula sandwich with fig jam. These guys belong in some sort of beauty contest! Fortunately, the taste matches the expectations set by the eyes.
