Dining Out: Qing Mu

There is SO much to love about the restaurant scene in Atlanta. Even as I bemoan the limited options for great Mexican food (with this notable exception), I am encouraged by the steady influx of tasty ethnic food.  The latest find is in Buckhead, of all places.  If you live in this corner of the world, chances are you know about Buckhead Atlanta and you may even have stood in line at Shake Shack, but chances are you haven't found Qing Mu.

Qing Mu is a flat-out legit noodle house located on the East Paces side of Buckhead Atlanta. (Note: don't park near the Shake Shack like I did or you'll be walking six blocks!!)

Since I wandered around for a while, you're looking for this exterior:I was suspicious when I went inside because the interior wasn't at all tacky. While there are assorted sides and nibbles at Qing Mu, the only entrees they serve are based on noodles.  Lots and lots of freshly made noodles.Your choices are to either pick your own ingredients for your bowl (you grab what you want from the fridge next to the counter) or you select from their five options.  I tend to trust the kitchen when it comes to mixing flavors, so I opted for #4 "Forbidden Kingdom" with the Hot Spring Spicy Broth.  The dish was made with Oxtail, Beef tendon, and wood ear mushrooms, so what's not to like in that combination?I only ate half the bowl and the kitchen boxed up the leftovers for me to take home.  The flavors were even better the next day!  I've already booked a lunch there next week and cannot WAIT to get back!

Please report back your favorite dishes since I plan on being a regular.
