A little bit of whimsy

"Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living; it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities."Dr. Seuss

For an adventure the other day, the kids and I took a bike ride on the Atlanta Beltline.

We started with lunch at Krog St. Market, then rode down to Piedmont Park.  The ride was easy and we stopped frequently to examine the art along the way.Among our favorites is Kyle Brooks.  I mean, what's not to love about his work?!At one point we rode past King Kong having his way with the Eiffel Tower when I noticed something unusual.  Do you see it?Sure. There's lots of unusual things happening in that space, so here's a more obvious look.Cool door, right?  And I don't mean the large door (though it's certainly lovely), I mean the tiny door!Apparently there's an organization, Tiny Doors Atlanta, which is busy installing small doors in Atlanta just for fun.

How silly! How whimsical! How wonderful!

Isn't your day brighter just knowing this group exists?

Mine certainly is.  Now go find them!
